Theatres
Unlike
many western capitals the theatre remains popular for both young and old.
The National Theatre is the most popular and glamorous venue for theatre-goers,
although the Odeon provides a good alternative. Ticket prices vary according
to performance and seat, but are never too outrageous. A ticket in the
stalls can be as little as 2-3 Euro. Performances are advertised outside
the theatre and in the free ‘What’s On?’ guide which
can be picked up for free in many bars and cafes.
