Cinemas
Bucharest has many cinemas, movie-going still being a very popular pastime for all generations. The prices are very reasonable (2-3 Euro) especially in the smaller, older (and therefore dirtier) cinemas around town. The two large Bucharest malls house modern, multi-screen movie complexes, with large seats, good sound systems and all the other facilities one would expect in any modern capital. Prices, however, reflex this at 4-5 Euro a ticket. Several publications are printed and distributed around the town’s bars and cafes, detailing what is on and where. Alternatively call the cinema directly to find out the programme.
