Templul Soarelui Address: 151 Mihai Eminescu Review: This restuarant has a pleasant location, with a reasonably-sized terrace out the front. The decor is what you'd expect from a typical chinese restaurant and the larger tables have a central rotating service plate; a nice touch. The menu is extremely comprehensive and sometimes a little confusing. I found the layout to be cluttered and it was a little hard to take in all the options, which isn't always a good thing if you want to encourage people to try new dishes. This annoyance was further compounded by the fact that nothing I wanted to try was available. It's all very well have 200 dishes on the menu, but only if you can actually eat them. Furthermore, they didn't seem to have a clue what a prawn cracker was! I found the service to be a little cold and unwelcoming, slow at times, and I can't say I was made to feel too good. The food, what was available, was quite tasty but not excessively good. Adequate would be a apt description, and the prices were pretty average being a little under 30 Euro for a meal for two. On a positive note the portions were ample. To be honest, I'm not inspired to come here again. Next time I fancy some oriental food I think I'll go back to Thang Long, the Vietnamese near Foisorul de Foc, where the food is tastier and the service better.
